My Cavalier, Pippin, and I did Shannon's Puppy Kindergarten and Puppy Grade One classes. Both were great. I appreciated the small size and indoor setting of Kindergarten, and the chance to play on some agility equipment as well as learning some basics. Puppy Grade One was outdoors - that made it much easier to translate the exercises to the real world. Shannon is a great teacher - patient with both the dogs and the humans, always willing to answer questions and tailor suggestions to your specific breed of puppy, and sends out weekly lessons and videos that we can review. I highly recommend her classes.
Shannon is awesome! Super knowledgable and patient with her training. Dash loved working with her and learned so much. She provided so much insightful information for what to do, buy, how to act etc... to support raising a rescue pup. The information is invaluable and will go a long way even now that our sessions have finished.
I started train my high energy mixed breed puppy with Zen Dog Canine and love their approach...Both Shannon and Christine are very knowledgeable and equip you with several tools how to deal with your dog's behaviour.. and I can't wait till the next course..
Shannon is a fantastic instructor with the experience and resources to help puppies truly thrive. As first-time puppy owners, her support and willingness to answer questions outside of class has been invaluable. We started with a private session, continued into Kindergarten, and are now beginning our third course with her. We can’t imagine training our puppy without Shannon!
Shannon has been such a pleasure to work with! For context, I have a Shiba Inu who was reactive, especially around resource guarding. After opting for the “Growl” training package, I find that he has calmed down, is less aggressive, and hasn’t exhibited any resource guarding (fingers crossed this lasts!). Shannon is super knowledgeable and really takes the time to get to understand your concerns and provides relevant training for you to work on with your dog. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who is considering training!
Shannon is truly a wonderful trainer/teacher! During the beginning weeks when we first got puppy, she gave us SO MANY helpful tips and advice and set us in the right path. Puppy is doing wonderful with her basic commands and she listens to my kids as well. Shannon’s classes are very interactive and she gives you a chance to practice new commands and gives feedback right away, which I appreciate! She also gives us videos to watch at home to review and has fun little assignments and contests each week to motivate us humans to train our puppies. Looking forward to Puppy Grade 1 class!
Shannon is amazing! I'm so happy I started with her classes. She is so patient, knowledgeable and kind. The doggies love her and she has taught me so many important skills that I am working on with my puppy. She has instilled confidence in me as an owner and I am excited for Puppy grade 1 to start and continue this journey. Thank you Shannon!
We had a great experience training our nearly 1.5 year old golden retriever with Shannon. She was super informative and we saw immediate progress using the tips she shared, right from our very first session.

Shannon is the best trainer there is! Just finished the second series of classes and it’s truly amazing! Also have done some private training sessions at home with her as well. She uses positive reinforcement snd it’s so astounding what you can get your puppy to do with her showing you what to do! What a difference an amazing trainer makes!!!
Shannons Saturday morning group classes are engaging & fun & i find the exposure to other dogs in this controlled environment are really helping my reactive dog. He is becoming calmer, more focused & happy & I’m confident Shannon’s training methods & exercises we do are helping to achieve this.

We have a spot that just became available for our summer evening obedience classes: Life Skills, Level OneJoin us outdoors in Kits in a spacious park setting to work on those essential skills all urban dogs need! We work on recall games, loose leash pattern games, toy play, greetings and focus around distractions. We have two spots left in our up-coming Puppy Kindergarten class, starting Thursday May 28th. Join us for lots of puppy shenanigans and learning through this six week course. We offer a progressive curriculum that builds in solid puppy skills. The course comes with a handler's loot bag of training items, a puppy agility course, weekly contests for prizes, and guidance on enrichment, nutrition, grooming.
