I had the good fortune of attending Shannon's classes and also had multiple private sessions. Shannon is extremely knowledgable and passionate about dogs/dog training. She is first class!

Just completed a Rally O class with my 10 month old terrier. It was so much fun! We experienced challenging courses, constructive training and great support from Shannon. I would highly recommend this course to dog owners with good training basics.

We did five private sessions with Shannon, and wow—game changer. Right off the bat, she nailed what Bami (our high-energy, lovable pup) needed and gave us actionable strategies we could use immediately.What I loved most was her focus on systems—not just quick fixes. She didn’t just train the dog; she trained us, showing us how to communicate clearly and set boundaries that actually work.Results? Night and day difference. Bami listens better, walks are way smoother, and there’s just less chaos in general. If you're on the fence about dog training, trust me: invest in Shannon. You’ll wonder why you didn’t start sooner.

Shannon is fabulous and is a wonderful dog trainer. We took a puppy kindergarten class and learned a ton.

Shannon is a fantastic instructor with the experience and resources to help puppies truly thrive. As first-time puppy owners, her support and willingness to answer questions outside of class has been invaluable. We started with a private session, continued into Kindergarten, and are now beginning our third course with her. We can’t imagine training our puppy without Shannon!

We can’t say enough about Shannon and Zen Dog training. Earl of Oxford has successfully completed Puppy Kindergarten and we have now moved outside for more in Puppy Grade 1. Thanks for sharing your knowledge, patience and tips with us. The other added bonus of working with Shannon for puppy school was you get access to the Simply Natural shop and the expertise from Charmaine, Elizabeth and Caroline. We had first hand thoughts and tips on nutrition, grooming, vet visits and more. All made easier if you needed anything after the class from what we had learned, you could buy before heading home. Wonderful positive reinforcement instructor. I have taken puppy classes and all the way to rally obedience with Shannon and my pup and I have enjoyed it so much!

Shannon is truly a wonderful trainer/teacher! During the beginning weeks when we first got puppy, she gave us SO MANY helpful tips and advice and set us in the right path. Puppy is doing wonderful with her basic commands and she listens to my kids as well. Shannon’s classes are very interactive and she gives you a chance to practice new commands and gives feedback right away, which I appreciate! She also gives us videos to watch at home to review and has fun little assignments and contests each week to motivate us humans to train our puppies. Looking forward to Puppy Grade 1 class!

We went through puppy kindergarten, grade 1, and grade 2 with Shannon and cannot recommend her classes enough! Her patient and positive approach to training has absolutely helped us through some growing pains as new puppy parents. We left each course with the confidence to build on our pup's training and navigate ongoing behaviour with a supportive approach that truly has enhanced our relationship with our pup.

Shannons Saturday morning group classes are engaging & fun & i find the exposure to other dogs in this controlled environment are really helping my reactive dog. He is becoming calmer, more focused & happy & I’m confident Shannon’s training methods & exercises we do are helping to achieve this.
