We couldn’t be more delighted to feature this student! We like to think of Abbi as the “queen” of our big dog class, Skills N Drills, the matriarch of one of the funnest weekly training sessions we offer!
At a spry 12 years of age, Abbi puts her German Shepherd talents to use in our summer Rally Obedience classes and weekly obedience drill classes. She comes from Vancouver Island and also answers to Sweat Pea, Alber and most endearingly, Little Monster.
She is highly motivated by treats to learn new skills (who said you can’t teach an older dog new tricks?) and is always up for tackling and mastering new exercises. Abbi is that dog in our Skills N Drills class who inspires newcomers to show up and work hard, understanding that the work pays off while still having fun together.
At home she will steal your spot on the couch when you get up and loves snacking on crunchy lettuce (huh? who knew!). When you see her running through the park you wouldn’t think she is into her second decade. This is all what makes her royalty to us!
